Having my hand not happy for typing is making me think about dictation programs again. The last time I tried one of these was in 1997, I used a pc version of Via Voice. It was okay, but not very natural and required extensive training. Last night I set up speakable items on the 3400, and I am surprised at how well it works.
Does anyone use a dictation program on their powerbook under os 8.6? I know there are new versions of Via Voice and Naturally Speaking. The ones out on retail are all for 9 or X.
