Finally getting around to wishing my 1400 had a working battery and wondered what to
expect if I shell out for one.

What kinds of battery life have you gotten with 1400's with stock processors (I've got
a 117) doing, say, word processing with fairly frequent (every 5-10 min or so) saves?
Less than 2 hours? More than 3?

I've heard and read the G3 upgrades save you quite a bit of power, but am still
holding off on that expense.

Thanks!
