Greetings. I'm currently using iTunes 2.0.2 on my PB3400c 240MHz with 80MB RAM running 9.1. Under "About This Computer" iTunes is using 8.4MB RAM. I wondered about the USB port "requirement" too when I first installed. But the 3400 doesn't have USB, and I've had no problems. I was also wondering about updating to 2.0.4. But based on a couple comments on this thread I think I will stay with 2.0.2 for the time being.

Where might I be able to find iTunes 1.x? I have 2.0.4 and hoped it
would work on my 1400. I had installed it and opened the app, but it
kept freezing. I thought it was due to the limited RAM I have and I
had thought that maxing it out at 64MB would do the trick. I also
thought the problem was also with the Crescendo driver. Are we sure
that the 2.0.4 version will not work? Does it look for a USB port and
get its information elsewhere?
