Greetings. I just picked-up a replacement keyboard for my PowerBook 3400c as my old one has several worn keys. This one looks great, and installation was a breeze. However, when installation was completed I discovered the left SHIFT key doesn't work! Two questions:

1) The left SHIFT key on the newer keyboard does not appear to be sticking or anything. What might be accounting for it not working? Is there a way to try to fix this?

2) Assuming "no" to the above question, I would like to cannibalize keys from the newer keyboard to replace the worn keys on my old one. Is this an easy/doable procedure? I have replaced keys on desktop Mac keyboards but have no experience with PowerBooks. Help is appreciated.
