I have a PB 1400cs with a sonnet G3. I don't have much trouble when I use Netscape Communicator 4.7.6. I don't even have to be using IE. I have freeze-ups when it is in the background. Almost every time I restart, there is a folder in the trash that says "Rescued items," and it has files from IE in it, usually the cache.)
I have the latest version of IE available before the switch-over to OS 10's. --
