I can give you all the evidence you need in one simple fact--you can install Mac OS X 10.0 or 10.1 on it. There is absolutely no way to install OS X on any machine that doesn't have a PCI bus. You can also look at the logic board. On the bottom side of it is a large surface-mounted chip that says "PCI bus". It even has a mini-PCI slot on the board that usually holds the combo Ethernet/33.6 modem that shipped on the 3400 and Kanga.
