Is there a way to stripdown Mozilla to just the browser so it isn't such a memory hog?
hum. Moz is very modular. It's esentially a driver app with a bunch of shared libraries. It doesn't actually load the anciliary stuff into memory unless you use it. You should be able to just pull the lib files out...
FWIW, I never use any of the anciliary stuff. The only time Moz ever pigs out on memory is when I hit Flash heavy sites. But that's due to Flash's poor implementation and memory leaks; not Moz's fault.
