The 9.1 iTunes is on my 1400/G3 and working fine for playing internet radio.

I can see the unaccellereated 1400 now, sitting on my stereo cabinet, streaming radio 
to my stereo (I don't have the digital radio channel thing thru the cable company) so 
this would help out radio options a lot.

I'll post once I try it.
