Hi, I have noticed that everyone has been talking about how to rebuild PowerBook 100 series battery. But how would you rebuild a 500 series battery? I have been looking this afternoon for instructions because I have some that need a rebuild I would say. I have had no luck finding anything. Could some one direct me to some possibly also need to know what cells are the best and where to find them. I've seen Panasonic cells, and Sanyo cells. I think as far as reconditioning, the Sanyo cells recondition a little bit better, but maybe it was the luck of the draw.
These batteries are way too expensive to buy new so I would like to find a cheaper, yet worthwile solution. I really do not want to spend more than may be 20-30 dollars if I have to.
