I've lost ethernet on my 1400. It was on a card that replaced the modem I have a couple of ZIP drives (USB and ZIP Plus) and considered sneakernet to upgrade from 8.5 to 8.6 etc. and load wireless software for my WaveLan Silver, using my G3 Pismo to download to the USB ZIP
With my ZIP plus connected any disk registers as a PC disk and all files are shown as PC files. Even when the disk was made on the G3 - so they won't load Is the IR between the 2 'Books compatible.
