Hi,

I have some stuff I burned to 650MB CD Rs and those disks read fine in the 6x drive I got with my PB3400

However I have not been able to use 700MB capacity CD R's to make disks for use in the 3400's CD ROM drive. I've tried Fujifilm, Verbatim, and TDK.

I'm aware that there are also 12x and 20x CD ROM drives that work in the 3400's expantion bay and was wondering: are either the 12x or 20x drives capable of reading files burned to 700MB capacity CD Rs? I'm guessing that the 6x one just can't handle it and wondered if maybe the 12x or 20x used a little newer hardware that might be more compatible?

-Matt
