I'm sure you're all waiting to hear. . . well, maybe not, but I've got the
Power Tower Pro 180 up and running. Not with the 180 card, but with a 132
out of a Mac 7200, and not with any of the ram that was in it when I got
it, but with 3 16 mg FPM sticks out of 7200's and not with the cache that
was in it installed. I used HDST on the IBM 2 gig HD (not supported by
Apple) and then installed a middling version of OS 8.1 all from the
internal cd-player. OS and utility type cd's will mount and run, but I
can't get music cd's to mount or play in the Apple Audio cd player. The CD
Speed Tools on the HDST disk won't work on it, any Ideas about this problem
and the overall situation with the Power Tower?
