Just picked up an Acard Ahard Ultra66 PCI card from Other World Computing
for $54.99 plus shipping.

I'm using it in a beige G3, and it works wonderfully under Mac OS 9 --
however (as already posted to the G-List), I cannot get either of my
large UltraATA drives to boot from either the internal IDE bus or the
Acard PCI card under Mac OS X 10.1.5. This may be a beige G3 issue....

But for the classic Mac OS, a highly recommended upgrade.
