Fellow Listers,

I'm about to finally upgrade the original 1997 64MB of RAM in my
mini-tower, PowerCenter Pro 240. From what I've seen it looks like
either EDO or non-EDO will work. It also looks like either 3.3 volt
or 5 volt will work, with the correct jumper setting. For the $27
that OWC is asking for a 128MB module, it's time to do the upgrade.

Has anyone actually changed this jumper? I've yet to look for it,
what's involved? How does one know which setting is for 3.3 or 5
volts. I'm loath to smoke check a hundred bucks worth of RAM.

All sage advice is welcome, on or off the list. I'm happy to RTFM,
but I don't have one.

If this works, I'll soon have 64MB of original RAM for the first taker.

Thanks,
Tom
