Have you tried starting with the extensions off? Hold down shift key while booting..
Also may try disabling the sonnet extension and see if it boots .. the extension may have been corrupted in the 'defrag' .. had a similar problem with my Powerlogix extension when i used drive first aid to repair the boot disk.
