Problem Solved, 10.2 installed and running!!!
As it turns out it was halting on waiting for root message .. but I stumbled upon the fix for my machine and drive .. It seems to only halt on the root message when XpostFacto restarts the machine after installing the mach kernle and .kext files .. but I did a Ctrl+CMD+[power key] reset on the machine and walked then came back thinking I would find OS 9 .. instead I was greeted with the Jaguar Setup. .. So I tried duplicating the situation and every time if failed to boot on restart but after a three finger salute it would immediately go into 10.2 setup. (sad part .. due to CPU throttling ... startup for installation took almost 5 mins) .. Now Running OS X 10.2 - OS 9.2.2 512MB of RAM 366 G3 Newer Tech 17GB HDD Space YEah .. I love my Mac!!
