Harvey,
This is my two bits.

I still use my PowerTower because I am attracted to the cloned machines ..
sort of a hobby. I am running on a G3 366Mhz with 512MB of RAM and
Photoshop 6 .. I don't have any trouble with it .. Of course I don't have
photoshop running in X 10.2 all that often but when it does it seems to
preform upto par .. a little slow on some of the filters but I was using a
Celeron 300Mhz PCee to do it before so it is faster with the G3 ..

On Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=25439&item=2302112969
&rd=1

A G3 400 that sold for 85.00
(not bad)

If you are considering some really serious photoshop use I would skip the G3
category and snag a G4 .. sad to say though .. G4 upgrades are a bit more
expensive than thier G3 brethern .. So much that is almost worth it to drop
the little extra dough on a G4 Emac (although funky CRT voodo on this model
due to close proximity of speaker magnets to screen) ... but look for
yourself:
