When my PCP 210 did that, it ended up being the processor. Although I can't remember if it chimed or not. But it always seemed like it was starting up, everything would power on and spin up, but there would be no video.
The heat sink fan choked on dust and stopped working, and I think the proc over-heated when I was compressing video. :( I dropped a proc out of a PTP in there and it came roaring back to life... I've heard rumbling about the PCI riser board on these going out, although I don't know what the symptoms are... -- mark > I picked up a Power Center Pro 210 desktop to play with that will not chime > most of the time.
