I'm looking around (finally) at putting an IDE/ATA card in my PowerTower Pro. I picked up a big honkin' drive a while back, and need an ATA/133 card to go with it! ;-)
So are there any opinions on which is the best card with regards to a PowerTower Pro? I understand that there are really only one or two manufacturers of these cards...
I'm thinking about that Sonnet Tempo Trio card to consolidate some of the other cards into one...
Also, OWC has ACARD, Sonnet, and SIIG models to choose from. The price difference is more or less negligible.
So, any thoughts would be very welcome to this latecomer.
I'd also welcome any wisdom about which slot in which to fit the card. Does the standard SCSI card placement apply with IDE cards?
FYI, I'm in digest mode.
Thanks, Drew --
