What BRAND of 56K external modem works well with a PB 180? I am installing a Sonnet card so I don't think that a Global Village will work. There are lots on Ebay. Should I try a Hayes, US Robotics, Dynex, generic? I will be running it through the modem serial connection.
I used a Global Village external modem with my upgraded PTP and it never had any issues with the PTP, stock or with a ZIF G3 upgrade. Just download the universal modem script from Global Village. http://modems.globalvillage.com/
