The idea I think is to do a reboot, thus the quit, then activate lines. 

However, you might want to put a delay in it.

quit
delay 30
activate


This will delay the reboot 30 seconds. 

Ben, the issue with PowerMail and version seems to be unique to some builds of 
PowerMail. I've seen them put the version numbers in, while other times it 
doesn't. When you save the AppleScript and it does it's verification of the 
script, it will put in the version number if required. It's done automagically.
