They weren't ever on PM, so you can't wait for them to come back. ;-) However, like other requests, it's up to CTM Dev. to prioritize these. I know off hand of at least 3 or 4 things that should be fixed/added before something as tricky as threading is added (I have never found a perfect threading email client... some messaged get orphaned or branched that shouldn't be, but I also haven't spent any real time using threading).
