Howdy,

I subscribed to the PM-discuss list a couple weeks ago to learn more
about PM. I've been considering switching from Eudora, my trusty
email client of more than a few years to something that is a little
less cluttered. While Eudora serves a purpose, it is a little
overboard on the features and I feel as though PM may serve me better.

At this point, I only have one small issue with the application: mail
storage. I am weary of having one database hold every single email
message. I have read numerous reports of people using MS Entourage
and eventually getting corrupted mail databases. Wouldn't Powermail
be susceptible to the same fate, even if the database structure
differs? It seems to me that individual mailbox storage would create
fewer problems.

With so many dedicated and intelligent users, I figure this issue has
been appropriately addressed many times over. I'm just looking for a
little reassurance before I cough up my $50 and transfer four years
of email over.

Thanks!
Mark P. Sittig
