I'm on a G5 dual 2GHz, with 10.5.8, PM 6.0.4 and Activity Monitor says
that it is using between 1.6 and 1.9 of processor time at idle, it
peaked about 6.4 a couple of minutes ago when typing this.
It's working fine on my MacBookPro, too.
