What is the primary driver for the use of remote monitoring ( Procedurally and /or the RWP, Dose for the job or to reduce access to HRA or LHRA areas)? The use of remote monitoring was part of the justification for reducing the frequency of routine radiation surveys. This was based on risk, ALARA, historical data, etc. What equipment is available to perform remote monitoring (Crash carts with video communications, telemetry or centralized monitoring station)? Crash carts set up with remote monitoring equipment, suitcase RMS units, centralized and remote monitoring, etc.... Is there an issue with "Free Air" cables at your facility Yes.
