North Anna's reply:

1. No. Each site maintains a separate inventory of EDs and instruments.
 We do share during outages.

2. HIS-20 and queries driven by Access.

3. MGP Instruments DMC-2000 S and DMC-2000 GN.

Due to the limitations in HIS-20, we developed Access queries using the HIS-20
database to get the information we need. Good news, Canberra is aware and is
working on improving the inventory module of this exposure management software.

Subject: Powernet: ED/Instrument Inventory

Duke Energy would like to know the following:

1. Do you distribute EDs and/or Instruments from a central facility?

2. What software or process do you use for inventory control and
accountability?

3. What type of ED are you using?

Any positive or negative opinions for any of the above would be much
appreciated.
