I tried to install a LDM-220 on a personal (a laptop of mine at home) computer a while back that was running Windows 7 64-bit. The USB/Serial driver would not install. I’d recommend contacting MGPI in Atlanta (770-432-2744) to see if this has been addressed.
On a related note… Canberra told me a few months ago that they do not have 64 bit drivers for any of their digital signal analyzers (e.g., DSA-1000 or Lynx). I too would like to go to 64-bit operating systems on my equipment for computer performance issues, but cannot until Canberra moves on this. We are currently using TeleView 2000 for our telemetry software. Initial testing on the 64 bit version of Windows 7 has not revealed any issues. Is anyone currently using TeleView with the 64 bit version of Windows 7? Additionally, does anyone have any experience using or testing the Mirion LDM-220 wireless ED reader with either the 32 bit or 64 bit version of Windows 7? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
