Palo Verde provides the following response:
1. Do you allow site utility employees (non contractors) to self proctor for
re-qualification GET Exams on NANTeL? No.
1a. If yes, how do you handle the proctor log requirement on NANTeL?
2. Do you allow site utility employees to take NANTeL GET training inside the
Protected Area? Yes.
2 a. If yes, how do you handle test failures?
If an individual fails an exam while inside the Protected Area, the proctor
immediately notifies Access Authorization for revocation of their unescorted
access and the individual must be immediately escorted out of the Protected
Area. Similarly, a failure of Radiological Worker Training (RWT) will result
in losing RCA access and the proctor must notify RP immediately. Successfully
passing the failed exam is required prior to restoring unescorted access into
the Protected Area, or access into the RCA, respectively.

San Onofre is interested in answers to the following regarding General Employee

2 a. If yes, how do you handle test failures?
San Onofre does not currently allow self proctoring for NANTeL. All site
employees are required to come to the CBT lab located outside the Protected
Area. If a student fails an exam the Proctor notifies Access Authorization or
Health Physics of the failure and student's access to the PA or RCA is then
restricted until a successful test score.
