We bought them (late) but did not use due to weight and questions from HP
technical staff on usage. During the post outage NRC inspection, the
regional HP inspectors voiced serious concerns about their usage and spent time
assuring themselves that we did not use them. So more work to do before we use
them.

Subject: Powernet: Tungsten Vest

Duke Energy would like to know the following:

For anyone who uses a tungsten/lead vest or apron, have you noticed any
abnormal or different than expected response of the TLD and ED underneath the
vest/apron other than the expected reduction in dose? Specific items of
interest are ED response changes, TLD response changes, changes in observed
shallow doses. Thanks!
