Does your site use the small "portable" "HEPA vacuum in a lunchbox" made by 3M? If so, do you secure these in any way to prevent inadvertent spillage from the HEPA filter/unit?
We use these vacuums, but unlike our other large vacuums that we secure with a lock, etc., to prevent them from opening and spillage of radioactive materials, we have never put similar controls in place for these because the HEPA filter are enclosed in plastic cartridges that slide in an out as a unit with no spillage.
