STP's policy is the same as the Duke policy.

Empty pockets, hard hats go in the SAM.
Thanks Roger

Subject: Powernet: Hard Hats at RCA Exit

Duke Energy would like to know what policy other sites have for hard hats at the RCA exit.  Do you require employees to put them in the SAM with other personal hand carried items or do you have employees wear the hard harts through the whole body monitor(s) (Argos/PCM/Portal)

Duke's current "empty pockets" policy requires hard hats be monitored through the SAM and we are interested in what other policies are being used and what technical justification, if any, the policy based on.

Thanks,
Graham Johnson
