Hi Barry,
Diablo Canyon’s ODCM is a series of four separate procedures.
All together, they make up our ODCM.
The procedures are revised, controlled, viewed, and downloaded
via our normal site procedure software system.
Respectfully,
Marty

Subject: Powernet: ODCM/ODAM Document Management
At Fermi our ODCM is updated in an archaic fashion. Only pages with revised
text are listed in the new "revision" along with instructions regarding which
pages are to be replaced in the previous revision. To get a complete, current
ODCM, it is up to the reader to print out the last ODCM revision that had all
the pages published (this can be several revisions in the past) and then go
through the subsequent revisions swapping out pages. Obviously this is a less
than modern approach to document management and, frankly, can introduce error.
Looking for advice on what other sites have done to bring their ODCMs/ODAMs
into the 20th centrury (yes that is not a typo). This is part of a quick-hit
self assessment.
Thank you in advance.
Barry
