Pretty much the same as Comanche Peak.

When we replaced all our RP electronic dosimeters, we configured the older
Thermo EPD-2 RP was not going to use any more for push-button on at a preset
does & alarm set points. Set up a few readers at various ERO locations so they
can be turned off or reset. We calibrate our Thermo EPDs using a Hopewell
Irradiator in-house. We are basically pocket-ion-chamber free at this point,
though we keep a number around just in case.

We have found that we need to keep extra batteries in the ERO electronic
dosimeter storage locations as well as go through them all after a drill or
event to make sure they are ready for the next use. Standard stuff, just
another thing to add to the kit inventory checklist.

Subject: Powernet: Personal Ion Chambers

Duke Energy is looking to phase out Personal Ion Chambers in E-Plan kits, in
favor of electronic dosimeters.

Has your site done this in the past?

Is there a point of contact we can reach out to to discuss 50.54(f)
applicability?

If you maintain PICs in your E-Plan inventories, who are you using for
calibration services?
