CPNPP is similar to Callaway except workers are asked if they can hear the EPD alarm during the required PC dress out training. Otherwise Sentinel Access Control handles things like Callaway after the individuals are identified.

Access Control Software is flagged for those personnel who cannot hear the basic ED alarm, and the worker is required to use a High Noise Adapter with each ED use. The Access Control Software has a confirmation screen each entry transaction that the worker makes to verify they are wearing a high noise adapter on their ED. With the plan to eliminate annual whole body counts on the "drawing board", we do not yet have a plan in place how this testing will be completed going forward. High noise adapters are required for all work in high noise areas involving High Radiation Area access. This is controlled by RWP.
