The Duke sites all use Sentinel for access control. To log in or out one must scan their employee ID number and TLD barcode. This associates the person to their assigned TLD and the ED the logged in with.

Currently BFN only uses the ED in the workers possession at sign out to identify the worker. The question that arose was how do we know a worker signed out with the same ED they signed in with. Examples of secondary identification methods could be scanning a TLD. manually entering a plant ID or some other method. If you are using a means of secondary identification at the RWP exit, what method and software are you using? BFN currently uses HIS-20. Chuck Creamer Charles E.
