Bob, EDF has several papers on the French NPP practice to perform nasal swabs as a part of their internal dosimetry assessment.
These papers are on the ISOE Website at isoe-network.net under previous symposium papers. One of the papers is from the Essen, Germany European ISOE ALARA Symposium. I will forward you some of the French papers, separately. It should be noted that each French nuclear plant has a full time medical doctor on site that is involved in this process and assessment. In responding to a potential uptake of radioactive material, do site procedures allow, or not allow, for collecting nasal swabs on affected personnel?
