We are looking to develop some procedure guidance for performing contamination monitoring of personnel pulling trash and laundry in multiple contaminated areas or chemistry pulling samples in multiple sample hoods. Many of these areas are not near a contamination monitor and it is not possible to put one in all areas where this situation could occur.
Do you allow hand and foot monitoring before exiting an elevation, or require the workers proceed to the contamination monitors each exit. Any input or procedural examples would be appreciated Chuck Creamer Charles E. Creamer Health Physicist Tennessee Valley Authority Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant P.O.
