I don't get why Sun labs is the "keystone" of this project. If you want this port to happen, make it happen! If you truly have waited so long for someone else's work and you don't see it happening, then empower yourself to make it happen. I don't believe Sun will hold it forever, and that they will eventually release what they have. I just don't know why or how it ever ended up in their hands solely to begin with.
