When Joshua made this post, it was said it might be around Nov.

We will see nice things happen around SXCR build 50. Some of the main 
OpenSolaris distros have fallen behind in releasing updated CDs for users to 
review - and release of even Xorg 7.1.x is still lingering. Sadly, this affects 
developer support and support for video hardware (open source drivers) even on 
the x86/SPARC platforms.

So, the officially released PPC kernel code is one thing... but an recently 
updated kernel and being able to build a distro around it is another. 

What are we doing to make that happen?
