Indeed, it seems that the last release to carry Solaris/PPC bits was gcc-3.0.4.
gcc-3.1 drops that triplet.

Well, we are lucky to be big endian :)
And we have to make sure it works good - GCC is the only compiler
we have and I don't see it changes in the future.
