Well, the WS compiler you mention would help the attempt from Martin who did buy
used IBM PPC machines ind installed the old Solaris PPC port on them.
The problem I see is that this is a little endian port and that it therefore 
may not be used to compile our big endian port.

We currently only have one CPU on the Pegasus so we cannot implement MP on the 
first run.

Google points to something that is Japanese character input. If this is
true, we just should ignore this topic as it does not seem to be relevent for 
the porting arttempt.

Not a problem as we build out own boot environment.

As there was no SunOS-4.x for PPC and as Solaris does not provide the
include files that would be needed in order to create the related applications, 
this does not seem to be a problem.
