Hmm. Actually, on Windows, screensavers tend to run at priority 4, i.e. much higher than Prime95. > BTW Prime95 reduced an AV sweep on my computer to a standstill. I just tried timing an AVG sweep on my otherwise idle Windows system and honestly couldn't tell whether Prime95 was running or not from the AV scan speed. What does affect AV scanning (using AVG) is anything else which is hitting the disk I/O system - Prime95 has a very low impact on this provided only that the system isn't critically short of real RAM.
