memtest86+ complete several passes reporting no problems.

I suppose I could, but I'm only using DDR800 (the machine supports
DDR1066), and it's not a memory problem. 

I've verified that it's not a cooling problem, not a memory problem, not
a powersupply problem, and it's (most probably) not the motherboard
(already exchanged once).  I'm pretty much left with the CPU being the
problem (I've already raised this with AMD), and I was just wondering
if there is any reason why mprime would "tickle" an AMD64 processor "in
the wrong place"?
