I'm using ospm-pm to configure my lp printer under OpenSolaris 2008.11. Ghee is poring system-config-printer to OpenSolaris 2009.04 for cups service. > Was it detected automatically and did it immediately work? If you running lp service, it can be auto-detected by ospm-applet if HAL find it. system-config-printer has a deamon tool able detect local USB printers for cups service. -Halton.
