I just now set up CUPS printing on nv_104. One printer is networked, so no problem there. The 2nd printer is USB attached to the computer. In /etc/cups/cupsd.conf, I inserted the following at the top of the file: FileDevice Yes
In the printer configuration, for the Device URI, I used: file:///dev/printers/1. It works fine. My printers are photosmart 7760 and Officejet 7310, not a laserjet, but the above should work. --ron -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
