I have two different HPLJ4-compliant printers attached to the parallel port of
two different Solaris 10 x86 machines.
They work fine, but I never have the correct tray selected. I always have to
push some buttons on the printer to tell it to use the automatic tray.

When using Mozilla, I see the name of the configure printer on the Print dialog.
Changing the paper format (A4 instead of that useless default 'Letter'), never
selectes the lower tray, and always asks for manual letter feed.

When using Star Office, I see only a Generic Printer, that works only if I have
a default printer setup in lpd. So, I have very few parameters to work with
(the tray selection is disabled). Selecting A4 never select the correct tray.

I happened to use ggv instead of the gnome integrated pdf viewer, and I got the
surprise...when printing, no print dialog was showing, the system started
printing immediatly, selecting automatically the lower tray.

Am I missing something?
