Hi Kelli -- I plan to offer a similar style of training as you are for your agency. I am interested in any additional information you can share regarding the design of your CBT module (i.e type of questions, how many questions, estimated length to respond to the module, tracking/trending of incorrect responses). Are you planning the same type of training on an annual basis?
Any additional information you can share is appreciated. We are going to offer seminar-style 1-2 hour awareness courses, the same course on several different dates in order to accommodate everyone's schedules. This was the easy part. The main concern that we had was how to train new employees. I am creating a computer-based training module for that purpose. The new employee will complete the online course at their desk. When they are finished, the module will generate an email to our personnel analyst stating that the employee has completed the course. I think these solutions could work regardless of the size of your entity. Good Luck! We are currently evaluating the best way to meet the HIPAA requirements for training. We have already engaged in ongoing awareness training, newsletters, etc. but are now considering methods for the required training. Is anyone in a large CE be willing to share what techniques they are planning to use for the mandatory training?
