tell me why the monitor images would differ so wildly when side by side on
one monitor. Its a grayscale image from Photoshop that is brought into
InDesign. It even prints differently from both applications using a 1290
with Fotonic inks and Lyson's profile. I keep looking for different settings
in each colour settings box but I can't find any.
What have I got wrong? I'm on a Mac in 9.2.

Dear Patrick

Quick test shows my images look very, very similar in Indesign2 compared to
PS7. Allowing for the fact that Indesign doesn't open the whole Tiff file. In
9.2.

Not set up for accurate printing tonight but will be later in the week.

As a matter of interest why are you printing from PS when you have a means of
cropping etc. in ID2?

I am new to Indesign2 but attended a demo/lecture a few weeks back and was
told that there is complete CM control inside Indesign2. Didn't understand
this because Indesign2 allows overlap and nesting of images with different
colour settings????? How come????
