Exactly. But I used Windolene, not alcohol.

Oh no ! I think I knocked the spring. I am placing the bucket over my head
(the one with my face on) right now !

I'm soaking the other head overnight in Windolene held in place underneath
by a sponge.
Fingers crossed.
See how I go tomorrow...
