William - don't be so hard on installation artists. I doubt if there's
anyone in the world who can assemble an IKEA flat-pack!!! :-^

As for video artists who cannot frame, well, they've always been able to
frame themselves to that the Arts Councils fall over themselves to give them
grants. Painters who cannot paint always have the Turner Prize to fall back
on! ;-) 

The Photographers Gallery is always keen to exhibit work from people who buy
a Powershot A40 one day and call themselves a photographer the next. They
think it's "fresh" photography whereas a lot of people think it's fresh
"something" and, what's more, it sure doesn't smell like Windowlene! ;-)
